June 2, 2010, an opening ceremony dedicated to the launch of the first Kimberly-Clark production in Russia took place in Stupino (the Moscow region). Equipment for the tour around the plant was provided by the Radio-Guide Company.
It's the first Kimberly-Clark enterprise in Russia. Currently, the plant is equipped with two production lines to manufacture Huggies diapers.
At the opening ceremony was attended by such distinguished guests as the United States of America Ambassador to the Russian Federation John Bailey, deputy chairman of the Moscow region Igor Parkhomenko, head of the municipal district Stupino Pavel Chelpan, as well as numerous guests from the United States and Russian sides.
