Radio Guide LLC traditionally participated in an exhibition “MITT/Travelling and tourism” 2012 from March, 21st to 24th. More than 1750 leading companies and national tourism offices that represent 157 tourism directions are gathered each year at this important event in a tourism sector, which is the most famous and representative forum of Russian and Eastern European tourism professionals. MITT is one of the five largest tourism exhibitions in the world and it is acknowledged by the international tourism community.

MITT is traditionally held in the EXPO center, which is a prestigious place for exhibitions in the center of the Russian capital. For four days the exhibition becomes the epicenter of meetings, discussions, and a place of opinions’ and suggestions’ exchange. Participation in this exhibition is an essential element for a successful forthcoming tourism season.    

The main feature of MITT is that it is a proven place for business meetings, first of all professionals of a tourism sector (the percentage of specialists among visitors is 71%). Thanks to MITT the middle of March has become a special time period for a tourism sector in Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States. This is where key players in a tourism sector announce the most important plans that are prepared for the forthcoming tourism season, including new programs, prices and directions. When the companies begin selling tours at the exhibitions, they say that the summer starts in March, it starts at MITT.
