Radio Guide in the capacity of a support partner at St. Petersburg annual summer art festival “The Access Point”

Radio Guide acted as a support partner at St. Petersburg annual summer art festival “The Access Point”.

“Refugee conversations” is a performance based on the eponymously-named play by Bertold Brecht which was written during World War II in Finland.

The setting of the play – the Central railway station of Helsinki.

The play was performed in St. Petersburg halls, cafes and a railway platform of Finlyandsky Railway Station – the starting point for the largest trunk railway in the northern part of the city.

A spectator equipped with Radio Guide RG-07 receiver, becomes a direct participant of the detailed private conversation between two characters spending time at the railway station. The focus is placed on the peeping effect: any spectator can either follow the artists or blend into the crowd and create his or her own visual images spontaneously accompanying the audio channel.
